Sikh entrepreneur sets up Masks and Safety Equipment Manufacturing Company in US

Indiana, April 26 (Raj Gogna)- An Indian-American Sikh entrepreneur has set up a company, called Cleanxa, in order to fulfil the demand of Masks and other protective equipment in the United States. There is a huge shortage of face masks and face shields and other protective equipment in the US during the COVID-19 pandemic. S. Gurinder Singh Khalsa, 46, belongs to Adhoi Village in Ambala district of Haryana, presently settled in Indianapolis, Indiana in America. He has started producing, selling and freely distributing the washable face masks and other types of equipment. The selling and distribution are done online through a website.Gurinder Singh Khalsa said, “Recently, Cleanxa has announced a ‘mask to work’ initiative and first of a kind ‘drive-thru masks facility’ to meet the huge demand across the United States. We are supplying the products to wholesalers, retailers, grocery stores all over the USA. We want to get the masks into the hands of the people who need them as quickly and cheaply as possible.”
Cleanxa is producing 50,000 face masks, 10,000 face shields and 2,000 body protective gowns per day.
